Under the direction of our president Ray Vannoy since its founding in 1974, Vannoy & Associates, Inc. has been responsible for a wide range of surveying and planning projects in more than sixty counties in Texas. In addition, Vannoy & Associates, Inc. has performed Global Positioning, reconnaissance and mapping services in Texas, New Mexico and Utah. In addition to being a Registered Professional Land Surveyor, Mr. Vannoy is recognized as a Licensed State Land Surveyor. He has had experience working with the General Land Office of the State of Texas in the capacity as L.S.L.S. He also has experience working with the gradient boundary on numerous rivers, especially the Brazos River.
Under this direction, Vannoy & Associates has installed a CORS site for GPS in McGregor, Texas. He is currently a member of the Adjunct Faculty in the Technology Department of the University of Texas at Tyler, teaching courses in Photogrammetry , Geodesy and Legal Principles for Land Surveyors. He is the 2004 recipient of the Vern Wayne Hanan Memorial Community Action Award from Texas Society of Professional Surveyors.
